(Short) Biography
His research interests are extended for areas such as Computer Vision, Biometrics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning. The goal of his research is focused on understanding the real requirements of complex systems (cloud computing, big data, IoT) and their applications in different domains such as (Computer Forensics, Behavioral Psychology, Financial Derivatives), and to provide real and practical solutions for guaranteeing the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) of the processes.
Marius completed his PhD studies on improving the security techniques for guaranteeing the confidentiality and integrity of the biometrics data stored in databases as part of the Computer Science Department at the University of Bucharest, Romania. During this time, he was also a part-time research associate for the ATHOS (Automated System of Authentication through Biometric Signature) project from S.C. Softwin S.R.L. where he worked on improving the load balancing mechanism in a parallel computing system.
Projects in which currently I am involved

CRYPLAT
The aim of CRYPLAT is to design and develop a cryptographic platform which includes the most recent advances in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). During the execution of the service(s) or specific procedures, the cloud service will not be able to learn anything about the user’s data.

HOTCLOUD
The purpose of HOTCLOUD project is to design and implement professional cryptographic technologies based on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) with the goal to process confidential information that are encrypted.

MOSE
The MOSE project goal is to design and implement security objects for smartphones and tables, which will stand out for most important and known attacks based on reverse-engineering techniques.

ELFET
ELFET project represents an eLearning platform based on ML, AI, and DL algorithms for adjusting the students in the streamlining process, being developed for cloud computing and big data environments, using SSE and HE as cryptographic techniques.
